Ray Leach is Co-Founder and President of The O.H.I.O. Fund, where he helps lead the firm’s mission to connect capital with conviction and build a network of investors, founders, and operators focused on maximizing returns.

Before co-founding The O.H.I.O. Fund, Ray was the founding CEO of JumpStart Inc., a nationally recognized venture development organization that supported hundreds of high-growth startups and helped catalyze billions in economic activity. Prior to The O.H.I.O. Fund, he invested in more than 100 startups, including Ohio unicorns CoverMyMeds and Embrace Pet Insurance. Ray also co-founded four technology companies, bringing firsthand entrepreneurial experience to his work with founders and investors.

A respected leader in innovation and economic development, Ray has advised national policymakers through the U.S. Commerce Department’s National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship and served in leadership roles with the National Venture Capital Association and Invent Now. He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron.
