Pete Frye

Pete is the Chief Engineer and Manager of the dedicated space nuclear applications team at Westinghouse. He is the technical authority for multiple prime programs involving safe & reliable fission power in space. Prior to his current role, he has previously led development efforts on lunar landers, satellites, aircraft, and helicopters. Pete is the sub-committee chairman for ASTM’s Commercial Space Flight F47.02 Unoccupied Orbital Vehicles. He has multiple patents and publications and holds both a BS & MS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.
