Marc Gibson

Marc Gibson is co-owner and Chief Engineer of the Space Nuclear Power Corporation where he is responsible for developing fission power systems for space exploration. With over 30 years of engineering experience, Marc has served as chief engineer for multiple civilian and government programs including NASA’s Kilopower project, spearheading the DUFF and KRUSTY nuclear demonstrations that helped trailblaze the current nuclear test programs. Marc has served as a NASA contractor, civil servant, and now as a nuclear startup owner where he runs the SpaceNukes Ohio facility, directing the fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of both R&D and flight projects.     

Marc holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron and an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
